BIS-Mapper Developer Opportunity For Your Consideration

The Position:
Position Title: BIS-Mapper Developer
Location: Remote Off-Site with Client in Harrisburg, PA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Compensation: DOE
Note: Position will be primarily remote off-site, however the client will only be considering candidates within a reasonable commute of Harrisburg, PA.
This senior technology consultant provides application support for the Department’s mission-critical Unisys BIS (formerly known as MAPPER) applications on ClearPath Dorado and Windows. This individual delivers solutions and prepares and delivers time-sensitive updates to the critical BIS applications to meet federal and state mandated regulations.
- Design, write, modify, test, and debug BIS/MAPPER scripts
- Design, write, modify, test, and debug BIS/MAPPER Graphical Interface scripts
- Design, write, modify, test, and debug BIS/MAPPER reports
- Perform unit testing, system testing, application (end-to-end) testing, and user acceptance
testing
- Write and / or update documentation of BIS applications
The Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with BIS/2200 and BIS/Windows
- Experience with BIS/Cool ICE feature
- Experience with BIS interfaces to external sources
- Must be located within continental US (Remote)
- Must pass PA Background Checks
- US work permit (US H1B, Residency, Citizenship)
- Possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and show initiative
