PowerBuilder Developer / Full-Time / Remote / Albuquerque, NM

The Position:
Client: State of New Mexico
Position Title: PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Remote Off-Site with Client in Albuquerque, NM
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on renewals, customer retention, and customer success
- Work within existing complex data models to create accurate, efficient, and scalable reporting solutions
- Automate routine reporting in Power BI, ensuring seamless transition from manual PowerPoint-based reports while maintaining the required format
- Apply strong visualization design best practices to create clear, impactful, and user-friendly reports
- Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting needs
- Data collection: Gather data from various sources, such as sales, revenue, and customer engagement
- Data preparation: Clean and prepare data for analysis
- Data analysis: Run queries, identify patterns, and interpret results
- Data visualization: Create dashboards, scorecards, and reports to present findings
- Data modeling: Design data models and methodologies
- Recommendations: Make recommendations for new policies, software, and other methodologies
- Communication: Present findings to decision-makers, such as shareholders and team member
The Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a Business Analyst on PowerBuilder projects including:
o Gathering requirements
o Technical & functional familiarity with PowerBuilder
- Solid experience with/understanding of PowerBuilder 12.5.2 – Classic
- Oracle i9 experience
- PFC (PowerBuilder Foundation Classes)
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Good written and verbal communication skills
