The Position:
Position Title: PMO Project Manager (Junior – Mid – Senior)
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: 12-24+ Month Project
Compensation: Dependent Upon Experience Level – Let’s Discuss!
Note: Position is hybrid; preference will be given to candidates within reasonable commuting distance (2-hours/100-miles) of Middletown, PA.
We are looking for Project Managers of all skill levels and experience to add to our team assisting the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO). Project duration will be for a period of 12 months, with the potential to renew for an additional 12 months, and so on. Work environment will be hybrid, primarily remote off-site with on-site presence as required.
Our PMO Project Managers will support multiple IT projects of varying complexity;
- Develop and maintain project plans and other artifacts as required using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
- Coordinate with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.
- Perform project management duties through the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
- Adhere to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.
The Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Information Technology Project Management of projects of various size and subject matter, including but not limited to integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management
- PMP Certification is a plus
- ServiceNow experience is a plus
- Enterprise Business Solutions experience, specifically SAP projects is a plus
- ITIL / ITSM practice and methodology experience is a plus
