The Position:
Position Title: SAP BRIM Data Migration Mapping Functional Consultant
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: 30+ Month Project
Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be 1-week per month on-site in Middletown PA, varying with project needs.
We are seeking multiple SAP BRIM Data Migration Mapping Functional Consultants to add to our team assisting the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) Information Technology (IT) Department. The PTC is engaging in an exciting and innovative technology solution to support their customer engagements; the solution is called the Unified Back Office Solution (UBOS). UBOS is an advanced back-office system that, when developed and deployed, will allow customers to engage with the PTC to address all their business needs, via a multitude of channels (web, mobile app, chatbot, chat, IVR, phone, social media, etc.). PTC is dedicated to transforming the customer engagement businesses through innovative technology and strategic insights. - Understand source data and query legacy data to analyze source data using strong SQL and PL-SQL skills.
- Review and map data from legacy systems into SAP BRIM across components in scope, including SAP S/4HANA (Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, Financial Contract Accounting, Banking, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management), Convergent Mediation, and Convergent Charging.
- Analyze legacy system data structures and extract structured and unstructured data from legacy data sources.
- Perform source to target mapping to map data fields from legacy systems to SAP BRIM data structures.
- Define, develop, and maintain business rules and cross-referencing tables.
- Plan and oversee detailed schedules and progress against milestones.
- Participate in data migration workshops and provide expertise.
- Document data migration processes, mappings, and validation rules.
- Create data migration runbooks for future reference.
The Skills and Experience:
- 5+ Years: Experience in SAP BRIM Data Mapping Migration in SAP S/4 HANA hosted in Azure cloud is required
- Experience on at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations migrating extremely high volume of data is required
- Experience in migrating data in systems with SAP S/4 HANA as the backend is highly desired
- Experience migrating closed transactions to recreate historic customer information in SAP S/4 HANA so customers can dispute closed transactions in highly desired
- Tolling experience is preferred
