The Position:
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Conservation and Environment Delivery Center (CEDC)
Position Title: CEDC – Senior .NET Technical Lead TAS3 (720463)
Location: Hybrid Remote Off-Site and On-Site (as required) in Harrisburg, PA
Duration: Initial term through 06/30/2024 (+ Annual Renewal in 1-Year Terms)
Note: Candidate or their vendor is required to report onsite at the start and the end of the contract to inventory and confirm the condition of Commonwealth issued equipment. CEDC will not send or accept equipment through the mail.
The CEDC is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Technical Lead to enhance, maintain, and support CEDC applications. This resource should have a strong Microsoft .NET development background with extensive experience using Visual Studio 2022, C#, ASP.NET, .Net 6, Blazor and Microsoft SQL server experience. The position requires the ability to design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center coding standards.
The Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 10+ Years: Development of Information Technology solutions
- 5+ Years: Experience in leading teams at a technical level
- 8+ Years: ASP.NET CORE
- 1+ Years: Blazor (at least 1 year experience in building frontend)
- 5+ Years: Web APIs
- Hands-on experience in integrating with 3rd party services, especially payment processing
- Entity Framework and LINQ
- SQL Server
- Proven UI Design experience (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery)
- Experience in creating SSRS Reports and SSIS packages
- Azure DevOps
- Experience in trouble-shooting legacy applications in ASP.NET WebForms, JavaScript and jQuery
- Hands-on experience with Git
- Experience with .NET 6 and/or .NET 7 is nice to have
- Well-versed with Razor pages and CSHTML is nice to have
- Familiarity with any of the modern CSS frameworks is nice to have
- Experience and understanding of AutoMapper or an alternative tool is nice to have
- Good understanding and exposure to PowerShell scripting is nice to have
- Some basic understanding of GIS and the core concepts involving location is nice to have
