The Position:<br>
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania â Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)<br>
Position Title: DEP - Salesforce Administrator TAS1 (804859)<br>
Location: Remote Off-Site with Client in Harrisburg, PA<br>
<br>
Note: &nbsp;The position is remote off-site. &nbsp;Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance (2-hours/100-miles) of Harrisburg, PA.<br>
<br>
Serves as the agency's senior Salesforce Platform Administrator responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform. &nbsp;Acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative platform capabilities and industry best practices. &nbsp;Provides user support, training, mentoring, and governance leadership while helping establish internal Salesforce expertise and reducing reliance on external vendors. &nbsp;Ensures the Salesforce environment remains secure, compliant, maintainable, and aligned with agency business objectives.<br>
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user accounts, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security controls.<br>
- Design, configure, and support Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, page layouts, and custom objects.<br>
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and develop effective Salesforce solutions.<br>
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program areas by identifying opportunities to improve business processes and increase platform adoption.<br>
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and executive decision-making.<br>
- Manage data quality initiatives including data imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, and migration activities.<br>
- Coordinate and support Salesforce releases, testing activities, and deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.<br>
- Troubleshoot complex platform, configuration, security, and integration issues and coordinate resolution activities.<br>
- Support integrations between Salesforce and internal or external systems using APIs and approved integration tools.<br>
- Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, operating procedures, and knowledge base materials.<br>
- Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to business and technical staff.<br>
- Mentor junior administrators and agency staff to build internal Salesforce administration and support capabilities.<br>
- Assist in establishing Salesforce governance, security, change management, and platform support processes.<br>
- Ensure compliance with Commonwealth security, accessibility, records management, and data governance requirements.<br>
<br>
The Skills and Experience:<br>
- 5+ Years: Professional experience administering, configuring, supporting or developing enterprise applications<br>
- 3+ Years: Hands-on Salesforce admin experience in a complex enterprise environment<br>
- Experience configuring Salesforce using declarative platform capabilities<br>
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions<br>
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, conducting requirements sessions, and providing customer-facing support<br>
- Experience supporting data migration, data quality, and system integration activities<br>
- Experience participating in software testing, release management, and deployment processes<br>
- Experience developing end-user training materials and providing user support<br>
- Relevant Salesforce Certifications (Certified Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, BA, Platform Developer I, etc.) are highly desired<br>

The Position:<br>
Position Title: Technical Business Analyst â Payments Processing<br>
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA<br>
Duration: 24+ Month Project<br>

Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be 1-week per month on-site in Middletown PA, varying with project needs. &nbsp;In addition to the PA ePATCH background check, PTC requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.<br>
<br>
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in payments processing to join our team. &nbsp;The ideal candidate will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the analysis, design, and delivery of payment solutions that are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.<br>
<br>
Our Technical Business Analyst â Payments Processing will perform the following duties;<br>
- &nbsp;Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for credit card payment processing systems.<br>
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data mapping documents for development and QA teams.<br>
- Analyze end-to-end payment lifecycle processes.<br>
- Work closely with card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).<br>
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, compliance, risk, and operations) and external vendors/partners to define and deliver payment solutions.<br>
- Support and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), system integration testing, and regression testing cycles, including writing and reviewing test cases and defect management.<br>
- Ensure all payment solutions adhere to PCI-DSS compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.<br>
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sprint ceremonies (in Agile environments) to drive alignment and timely delivery.<br>
- Analyze payment data and transaction reports to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.<br>
- Support go-live activities, post-implementation monitoring, and production incident resolution related to payment systems.<br>
- Document API specifications and integration guides for payment gateway and processor connectivity.<br>
<br>
The Skills and Experience:<br>
- 5+ Years: Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, with a strong focus on credit card or electronic payments processing.<br>
- Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem.<br>
- Proficiency with messaging standards and payment authorization/settlement flows.<br>
- Experience with PCI-DSS compliance requirements and tokenization/encryption concepts.<br>
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and ability to read and interpret API documentation and message schemas.<br>
- Strong skills in writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, data flow diagrams, and process maps.<br>
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology using tools such as Jira and Confluence.<br>
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying transaction databases.<br>
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<br>
